Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from near 30 in Clifton down to the low 20s further inland, winds are from the west around 5-10 mph.

High pressure building in from the west will give us a nice sunny day today with temperatures a little milder with highs near 40. Winds will be a little brisk at times with some gusts to 20 mph.

A weak frontal system will likely give our area some light snow changing to light rain on Friday. There may be a dusting of snow mainly across inland areas.

Saturday will be colder and breezy but with plenty of sunshine.

Another weak front will give us a low chance of some light rain or snow on Sunday.

It now appears that next week will not be as frigid as originally indicated but it still will be cold and we will have another chance of light snow Tuesday and Wednesday!

SUNDAY – FEB 7 – Partly sunny with a low chance of light snow or rain, high near 40.

MONDAY – FEB 8 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 30s.

TUESDAY – FEB 9 – Partly sunny with a chance of rain or snow, high in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 10 – Partly sunny with a chance of light snow, high in the low 30s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. this afternoon for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.
