CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR FEBRUARY 5TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 38 AVERAGE LOW: 22

RECORD HIGH: 67 – 2019 RECORD LOW: -2 – 1996

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 42 LOW: 29 PRECIPITATION: NONE

A weak frontal system will give us some light precipitation mainly this morning. Some light snow will change to light rain before ending. A dusting to maybe an inch of snow is possible. Temperatures will rise to the 40s this afternoon with slow clearing by this evening.

Saturday will be a sunny and brisk and cooler day as high pressure builds into the area.

It now appears that offshore low pressure area will be close enough to give us some snow on Sunday but the storm will be a quick mover so there should not be any significant accumulation, but we may end up with 2-4 inches.

Monday will be sunny but cold.

Another frontal system will give our area a good chance of precipitation on Tuesday. It appears that it will start as snow then change to rain and back to snow before ending.

Much colder weather is expected Wednesday through the end of next week with mainly dry conditions.
