Skies are clear early on this Friday morning and it is quite cold with readings ranging from 21 at Clifton down to 13 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the northwest.

Low pressure off the Canadian maritime region and high pressure building from the west will cause a brisk northwest flow of cold air today. High temperatures will only be in the 30s and with the wind it will feel even colder.

Fair and chilly weather but less wind over the weekend. High temperatures will continue to be only in the 30s.

Dry weather to continue most of next week, temperatures will be near normal on Monday but rise to above normal Tuesday through the end of the week with some high temperatures rising into the 60s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the mid 20s.

SATURDAY – MAR 6 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – MAR 7 – Sunny, high in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – MAR 8 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – MAR 9 – Mostly sunny and milder, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 10 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – MAR 11 – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon for northwest winds gusting to 30 mph with some gale gusts possible, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Saturday night through Tuesday.
