Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are light from the west.

A weak cold front came through dry overnight and we will have an increasingly brisk northwest wind of cooler air today, some gusts to 30 mph.

An extended period of dry weather will continue tomorrow through most of next week. It will be quite chilly Friday through Monday with a warming trend beginning on Tuesday with possible highs near 60 Wednesday and Thursday.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – MAR 4 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high in the low 40s, wind gusts to 30 mph possible.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear and breezy, low in the low 20s.

FRIDAY – MAR 5 – Sunny and breezy, high in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY – MAR 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – MAR 7 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

MONDAY – MAR 8 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – MAR 9 – Mostly sunny and mild, high in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 10 – Mostly sunny and mild, high near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday evening for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet. Brief gale gusts possible tonight into Friday morning.

OUTLOOK – Advisories expected to continue Friday night through the day on Saturday; no advisories expected Saturday night through Monday.
