Sunny today and not as cold or windy! Mostly cloudy on Easter Sunday with mild temperatures! Mainly mild and dry next week with only a chance of showers at the end of the week!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and once again it is quite chilly with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 27 degrees in Clifton down to 17 at Pequest. Winds are mainly calm or light northwesterly. More than likely, it probably will not be this cold again until November.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR APRIL 3RD:

RECORD HIGH: 78 – 1981 RECORD LOW: 25 – 2008

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 37 LOW: 26 (Tied Record) PRECIPITATION: NONE

High pressure building into the area will give us a northwest flow of dry air and with plenty of sunshine temperatures will moderate with highs in the mid 50s with much less wind.

Some cloudy skies early on Easter Sunday then it should remain mostly cloudy as a weak warm front moves through the area. Early morning low temperatures will not nearly be as chilly as this morning and afternoon highs should reach to near 60 degrees.

Mainly dry weather next week with temperatures slightly above normal with the next chance of showers not until the end of the week.
