Skies across the area are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 39 degrees in Clifton down to 36 at High Point, winds are from the northwest averaging 5-10 mph.

The low pressure that gave us the showers and cool and windy weather yesterday will be moving further offshore as a weak high pressure moves into the area. We will still have mostly cloudy skies, but high temperatures will not be as cool as yesterday and we will have less wind.

Sunday will be a bit milder but still with considerable cloudiness.

High pressure will give us mild weather Monday and Tuesday with highs well up into the 60s on Monday and into the low 70s on Tuesday.

A strong cold front will cross the area on Wednesday accompanied by some showers and then followed by cooler and windy conditions Thursday into Friday.

FRIDAY – APR 23 – Sunny and breezy, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northwest winds to 10 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Tuesday; advisories likely late Wednesday with possible gale gusts Wednesday night.
