Partly sunny and much cooler today! A little milder on Tuesday! Hot on Wednesday with a chance of showers in the evening! Warm and dry on Thursday! Cool weather with a chance of rain to start the holiday weekend!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 59 in Clifton down to 51 at Walpack, winds are light from the north.

Today will be a partly sunny day and much cooler than the last few days with highs only reaching the upper 60s as a cool Canadian high pressure dominates our weather.

Somewhat milder weather on Tuesday as a warm front approaches and comes through our area by evening.

Wednesday looks to be another hot day with highs reaching the low 90s. A cold front may cause some showers and thunderstorms in the evening.

Thursday looks to be a nice day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s.

The start of the holiday weekend does not look too promising with cooler temperatures along with chances of rain Friday and Saturday. Sunday at this point looks dry but temperatures will be slightly below normal.

THURSDAY – MAY 27 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – MAY 28 – Mostly cloudy and cooler with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – MAY 29 – Mostly cloudy and cool with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning for easterly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Thursday; advisories expected on Friday.
