Quite warm and humid weather to continue on Wednesday with still a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cooler and less humid Thursday through the weekend but still a chance of showers Thursday and Friday!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and it is very warm with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 77 in Clifton down to 67 at Walpack. The humidity is high with dew points around 70. Winds are mainly calm.

The Bermuda high pressure that is responsible for the early June heat wave will be weakening but a southwest flow of very warm and humid air will be with us again today with showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon and continuing into this evening. Some of the rain will be heavy at times with rainfall amounts of up to an inch with locally higher amounts possible.

Still quite warm and humid on Wednesday with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front sags to our south late Wednesday night.

Thursday will be cooler and less humid but still with a chance of some showers.

Cool weather with comfortable humidity will continue Friday into the weekend but still a chance of some afternoon showers on Friday.
