Mostly sunny and a little warmer today! Very warm to hot weather for this weekend with only a low chance of an afternoon shower on Saturday! Heat wave much of next week!

Good morning everyone!

Another cool morning on this Friday with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging form 57 in Clifton down to 44 at Walpack. Skies are partly cloudy and the winds are mainly calm or light northerly.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR JUNE 25TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 82 AVERAGE LOW 63

RECORD HIGH: 93 – 2005 RECORD LOW: 49 – 1986

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 78 LOW: 55 PRECIPITATION: NONE

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather today providing the area with mostly sunny skies, temperatures will be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday and the humidity will continue to be comfortable with dew points in the 50s.

The high pressure will move offshore and a south to southwest flow of warmer and more humid air will be with us this weekend. Most of the time it will remain dry but there is a low chance of an afternoon or evening shower on Saturday.

Heat and humidity will be with us much of next week as a Bermuda high pressure will continue to give us a southwest flow. With plenty of moisture available there will be an increasing chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms Tuesday through the end of the week.
