Mostly cloudy, warm and humid today! Heatwave Sunday through at least the middle of next week with highs each day in the 90s along with high humidity! Shower chances increase toward the end of next week!

Skies have become mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. are around 10 degrees higher than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 68 in Clifton down to 57 at Walpack. The humidity is high with dew points in the 60s. Winds are mainly calm or light southerly.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day as high pressure moves off the coast and a southerly flow. High temperatures will be in the 80s but the humidity will be high.

The Bermuda high pressure ridge will dominate our weather Sunday through at least the middle of next week and will produce a southwesterly flow of hot and humid air. High temperatures through the period will be in the 90s and overnight lows will only drop into the 70s. The humidity will also be high with dew points near 70.

The chances of afternoon and evening showers increase through the week but Sunday and Monday should remain dry.
