Good morning everyone!

The Bermuda high pressure ridge will continue to pump hot and humid air into our area through Wednesday with highs each day in the mid to upper 90s and with dew points at or just over 70 will cause the heat index to rise above 100 degrees. A heat advisory remains in effect. Only a slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm today, but a somewhat better chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Although it will be hot in our area the Pacific Northwest is having record heat, Portland and Seattle had the hottest tempertures ever recorded and Lytonn in British Columbia had their highest temperature ever for the nation of Canada with a high of 116 degrees.

A cold front will slowly approach and cross our area on Friday preceded and accompained by showers and thunderatorms both Thursday and Friday. Temperatures with the clouds and rain will be lower but the humidity will remain on the high side.

At this point the holiday weekend looks to be unsettled as the front will still be close to our area so showers are possible along with cooler temperatures.
