A heat advisory remains in effect. Only a slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm today, but a somewhat better chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Although it will be hot in our area the Pacific Northwest is having record heat, Portland and Seattle had the hottest tempertures ever recorded and Lytonn in British Columbia had their highest temperature ever for the nation of Canada with a high of 116 degrees.
