Skies across the area are mostly clear but there is some patchy fog in some spots, temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 63 in Clifton down to 55 at Walpack, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will control our weather today with seasonably warm temperatures and moderate humidity. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm but most areas will remain dry.

Very hot with an increase in humidity Tuesday and Wednesday as Bermuda high pressure dominates, highs will be well up into the 90s with heat indexes rising to over 100. There is a better chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm both days.

Not as hot Thursday and Friday but staying humid as a front approaches from the west along with possible moisture from Tropical Storm Elsa. Showers and thunderstorms are likely with some heavy rain possible.

At this point next weekend looks to be seasonably warm but there will be chances of typical summer showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening both days as a weak trough will be in our area.
