Beautiful and comfortable summer weather to continue today and on Saturday! Becoming more humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday into Monday morning! Quite warm with moderate humidity Tuesday through Friday with a low chance of showers on Wednesday!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and it is cool once again with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 63 in Clifton down to a cool 50 degrees at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm or light northwesterly and the humidity continues quite low with dew points in the comfortable 50s.

High pressure will continue to give us seasonably warm temperatures with comfortable humidity today and again on Saturday. We should see plenty of sunshine both days and the dew points will again only be in the 50s.

A warm front pushing through the area will cause higher humidity Sunday into Monday along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Dew points will rise into the low 70s.

Much of next week will be rather warm but with moderate humidity. The only chance of showers at this point will be Wednesday afternoon and evening.

TUESDAY – JULY 27 – Mostly sunny, high near 90.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 28 – Mostly sunny with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, high in the upper 80s.

THURSDAY – JULY 29 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northerly winds to 10 knots, seas less than 1 foot. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 75 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Saturday; possible small craft conditions on Sunday; no advisories expected for Monday and Tuesday.
