Another nice summer day today with seasonable warm temperatures, low humidity and plenty of sunshine! More humid on Sunday with showers likely! Mostly sunny on Monday becoming hot but less humid! Continued hot on Tuesday with moderate humidity!

Another cooler than normal early morning on this Saturday as temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 63 in Clifton down to 54 at Walpack. Skies are mostly clear, winds are mainly calm and the humidity continues to be low with dew points in the 50s.

Another nice summer day today with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity as high pressure continues to dominate.

A warm front will likely give our area some showers after midnight tonight. After a cloudy start sunshine should return by the middle of the day on Sunday but there will still be a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves through the area by Monday morning. It will be humid on Sunday with dew points around 70.

The front will be offshore on Monday and it will be hot but becoming less humid in the afternoon.

Tuesday will be a hot day with plenty of sunshine but the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Wednesday will be slightly cooler and another cold front may cause some showers Wednesday night through Thursday evening followed by high pressure on Friday.

TODAY – JULY 24 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness with showers likely after 2 a.m. with a chance of thunderstorms, low in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – JULY 25 – Showers and thunderstorms likely before 11 a.m. then becoming mostly sunny and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. high in the upper 80s.

MONDAY – JULY 26 – Mostly sunny and hot but becoming less humid in the afternoon, high in the low 90s.

TUESDAY – JULY 27 – Sunny and hot, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 28 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s, chance of showers after midnight.

THURSDAY – JULY 29 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – JULY 30 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Variable winds less than 5 knots, seas less than 1 foot. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 74 degrees.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 8 a.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday morning; no advisories expected the rest of Monday through Wednesday.
