After a nice weekend today will feature more clouds but the humidity will stay low. High temperatures will be a little lower than yesterday due to the clouds. High pressure will be moving off the New England coast.

More humid weather will return for the rest of this week into the weekend as a light southerly flow develops. There will be a chance of showers each day. Thursday may be the wettest day as the remains of Tropical Storm Fred approaches the area with heavy rain possible. High temperatures will be near seasonable levels but dew points will be near 70 degrees through most of this period.

High pressure building from the northwest will give us a very nice summer day with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity with dew points in the comfortable 50s.

The nice summer weather will continue on Monday with continued seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity, however there will be more clouds than today.

The high pressure will then move off the coast and a southerly flow of more humid air will move into our region on Tuesday and last most of the rest of this week with showers possible each day. Thursday will have the best chance of showers. Temperatures will be near normal Tuesday through Friday and become warmer next weekend. Dew points will be near 70 each day.

A cold front is expected to cross the area this afternoon accompanied by some scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will still be quite warm but not nearly as hot as the last three days with highs in the upper 80s to near 90. The humidity will drop by tonight.

Sunday will be a delightful summer day with plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity as dew points drop into the 50s.

After a dry Monday shower chances will increase along with the humidity through most of next week, however temperatures will be near seasonable levels with most daily highs in the 80s.

Today will be our last day of intense heat and high humidity as the Bermuda high continues to dominate our weather. Temperatures again will reach the upper 90s and with dew points in the 70s will cause heat indexes once again rise to above 110 degrees. An excessive heat warning continues in effect. There will again be a chance of showers and thunderstorms late today into tonight.

Saturday will be less hot but stay humid most of the day and showers and thunderstorms will be likely as a cold front crosses the area in the afternoon. Becoming less humid at night.

Sunday is looking to be a fantastic weather day with plenty of sunshine, seasonable warm tempertures and much less humidity.

Most of next week we will have near seasonable temperatures. The humidity will stay low Monday and Tuesday but increase somewhat Wednesday and Thursday as some moisture from the remains of Tropical Depression Fred moves up from the south.

The Bermuda high pressure ridge will continue to pump very hot and humid air into our area today and Friday. Skies will be mostly sunny both days with highs well up into the 90s and with dew points in the 70s it will push the heat index to over 110 both days. A excessive heat warning is in effect for today which will probably extend into Friday. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day and evening today and especially on Friday.

A cold front will cross the area sometime on Saturday and it will not be as hot. There will be a chance of showers during the day followed by much less humid air at night.

Sunday should be a very nice late summer day with pleasant temperatures and humidity along with plenty of sunshine.

Near seasonable temperatures early next week but after a mostly sunny and dry day on Monday there will be another chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday with a slow increase in humidity.
