Mostly sunny and not as warm today and much less humid! Good late summer weather to continue Monday and Tuesday! Showers likely Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and we should enjoy a nice sunrise. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 64 in Clifton down to a 52 at Walpack. Winds are light northerly.

A cold front crossed the area overnight and we will have a light northerly flow of cooler air today with much less humidity and plenty of sunshine.

High pressure will continue to give us nice late summer weather Monday and Tuesday with plenty of sunshine both days along with continued low humidity.

A slow moving cold front will likely cause showers from Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning, some rain may be heavy at times.

At this point the first weekend of fall looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – SEP 20 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – SEP 21 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 22 – Mostly cloudy and humid with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m., high in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – SEP 23 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – SEP 24 – A chance of morning showers then becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – SEP 25 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northerly winds to 10 knots, seas less than 1 foot. Point Pleasant Beach’s ocean temperature is 73 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through the day on Tuesday; possible advisories for high seas Tuesday night through Thursday.
