Partly sunny, warm and humid again today! Warm and breezy on Saturday with showers mainly in the afternoon and evening as a strong cold front moves through the area followed by much cooler and drier air for Sunday!

Another unseasonably warm early morning as temperatures at 5 a.m. range form 61 in Clifton down to 52 at Pequest. Skies are mostly cloudy and there is some patchy fog in some inland areas. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be warm again as southwest flow around high pressure to our south dominates our weather. Skies will be partly sunny and it will be rather humid again with dew points in the 60s.

A strong cold front is expected to cross our are late tomorrow afternoon preceded by a brisk southwest flow of warm and humid air. Showers will accompany the front followed by much cooler and drier air by tomorrow night.

It will feel much more like fall on Sunday with cool and breezy conditions along with low humidity.

Dry weather for much of next week. Monday will still be breezy with less wind on Tuesday. High temperatures will be near normal Monday and Tuesday with slightly above normal readings the rest of the week. Humidity will be low throughout the week as dew points drop to the 40s.

SATURDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly cloudy and breezy with showers and possibly a thunderstorm mainly after 3 p.m., high near 80.

SUNDAY – OCT 17 – Mostly sunny, breezy and much cooler and less humid, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 18 – Sunny and breezy, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 19– Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 20 – Sunny, high near 70.

THURSDAY – OCT 21 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly winds to 10 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 8 a.m. Saturday morning until 6 a.m. Sunday morning; advisories expected to continue Sunday and Monday; no advisories expected for Tuesday.
