Warm and humid before a strong cold front comes through early this evening accompanied by showers! Mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler and drier weather for Sunday! Mainly dry weather next week, cool Monday and Tuesday then milder Wednesday through Friday!

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and again it is unseasonably mild with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 66 in Clifton down to 61 at Ramsey. Winds are calm or light southerly.

A southerly flow of unseasonably warm air will be with us today ahead of a strong cold front that will pass through early this evening accompanied by showers and possibly a strong thunderstorm mainly from 6-8 p.m. The front will be followed by much cooler air later tonight.

Those who like fall weather, your time has come, as temperatures on Sunday will be slightly below normal, which will feel cold compared to the well above normal temperatures we have had so far this month. High temperatures will be only in the low 60s and it will be breezy. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

Mainly dry weather next week. Monday and Tuesday will be cool, but milder air is expected Wednesday through Friday. The only chance of showers will be ahead of a cold front Thursday night into Friday followed by cooler weather for next weekend.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with showers and possibly a thunderstorm this evening followed by much cooler and drier air after 9 p.m., low in the low 50s.

SUNDAY – OCT 17 – Mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 18 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 20 – Sunny, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – OCT 21 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s, chance of showers at night.

FRIDAY – OCT 22 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday morning for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories expected for Sunday through Monday afternoon; no advisories expected Monday night through the day on Tuesday; advisories expected Tuesday evening; no advisories expected late Tuesday night through Wednesday.
