Cooler and breezy today and on Monday with a chance of sprinkles both days! Little milder on Tuesday with more sunshine! Mild and dry Wednesday through Friday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. are about 15 degrees colder than this time yesterday ranging from 50 in Clifton down to 42 at Walpack, these readings are actually still above normal for mid October. Winds are light from the west.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR OCTOBER 17TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 63 AVERAGE LOW: 45

RECORD HIGH: 82 – 2016 RECORD LOW: 34 – 2015

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 79 LOW: 56 PRECIPITATION: .43″

The cold front that caused the showers yesterday has moved well offshore and high pressure in the middle of the country builds eastward. Today will be mostly clear in the morning but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon along with a chance of some sprinkles. High temperatures will be more fall like with highs in the 60s.

Tomorrow will also be breezy and we again will have mostly clear skies in the morning but with increasing clouds in the afternoon along with another chance of sprinkles.

After a cool morning on Tuesday a more southwesterly flow will bring milder air in the afternoon.

Wednesday through Friday look to be dry with above normal temperatures but not as warm as what we experienced the last few days.

Cooler again next weekend and we should stay rain free.
