Mostly sunny and continued cool today! Dry weather to continue through at least the middle of next week with a slow warming trend!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are once again chilly with some patchy frost in our area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 35 in Clifton down to 26 at Walpack and Pequest. Winds are calm or light northwesterly.

Strong high pressure will be over our area today providing us with mostly sunny skies but with cool temperatures and light winds.

Tranquil weather is expected to continue tomorrow through at least the middle of next week. Temperatures will be below normal Friday through Saturday, near normal on Sunday and above normal much of next week with highs in the 60s.

TODAY – NOV 4 – Patchy frost before 9 a.m. then becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming clear, low in the low 30s.

FRIDAY – NOV 5 – Patchy frost before 9 a.m. then becoming sunny, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – NOV 6 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

SUNDAY – NOV 7 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 8 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – NOV 9 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North-northeast winds to 10 knots, seas around 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday through the day on Saturday; advisories possible for high seas Saturday night through Monday due to low pressure well off the coast.
