Sunny and cool today! Dry weather to continue through early next week with a slow warming trend!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures have fallen to the lowest so far this season with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 38 in Clifton down to 29 at Walpack, these temperatures however are only a couple of degrees below normal. There is patchy frost in parts of the area and winds are mainly calm or light westerly.

We will have some patch frost early this morning then we should see plenty of sunshine with cooler than normal temperatures with highs in the low 50s. Winds will be light.

An extended period of dry weather is expected tomorrow through early next week as high pressure will dominate. There will be a coastal storm developing on the weekend but should stay well east of the area to affect our weather. Temperatures will be below normal tomorrow through Saturday, near normal on Sunday and then above normal through at least early next week.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear with patchy frost after midnight, low in the low 30s.

THURSDAY – NOV 4 – Patchy frost early then mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 5 – Sunny, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – NOV 6 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

SUNDAY – NOV 7 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 8 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – NOV 9 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – West-northwest winds to 10 knots seas 1 foot or less.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday through the day on Thursday; possible small craft advisories for Thursday night into early Friday; no advisories expected Friday afternoon through the day on Saturday; possible advisories for high seas Saturday night through Sunday.
