Partly sunny, breezy and much cooler today! Still cool on Saturday with less wind! Milder on Sunday with a chance of rain late in the day into Monday morning!

Skies have become mostly clear early on this Friday morning permitting viewing of the lunar eclipse. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 39 in Clifton down to 33 at Walpack. Winds are from the west around 10 mph.

The front that cause the overnight rain has moved offshore as high pressure builds from the middle of the country. Today will be much cooler than yesterday with highs mostly in the upper 40s. Winds will be brisk this morning then diminsh this afternoon.

The high pressure will be over our area on Saturday with continued cool temperatures and much less wind.

Sunday will not be as cool and a frontal system will likely give us rain mainly in the evening and ending Monday morning.

Much cooler and windy on Tuesday. The cool weather will persist on Wednesday but with less wind.

At this point Thanksgiving Day looks to be mostly sunny with seasonably mild temperatures.

TODAY – NOV 19 – Sunny, breezy and cool, high in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 30s.

SATURDAY – NOV 20 – Increasing cloudiness, high near 50.

SUNDAY – NOV 21 – Cloudy with a chance of rain after 4 p.m., high in the mid 50s. Rain likely at night.

MONDAY – NOV 22 – Chance of rain in the morning then becoming partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – NOV 23 – Mostly sunny, windy and quite cool, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 24 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THANKSGIVING DAY – NOV 25 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected from Saturday through the day on Sunday; small craft possible Sunday night; small craft advisories likely Monday and Tuesday with some gales probable Monday night into Tuesday.
