Cool with increasing clouds today but with much less wind! Cloudy and milder on Sunday with showers at night into Monday morning! Dry and chilly Tuesday and Wednesday! Mostly sunny and milder weather for Thanksgiving!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 33 in Clifton down to 24 and Pequest and Walpack, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure over the area will be moving offshore and we should see some increasing high clouds by this afternoon, highs will again be in the 40s but with much less wind than the last couple of days.

Sunday will be cloudy but temperatures will be a few degrees milder than today. As the high moves offshore a cold front will cause showers mainly Sunday night into early Monday morning. At this time the rainfall amounts should be less than 1/4″. High temperatures Monday will be in the 50s but fall into the 40s by late in the day.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry but cool, winds will be brisk on Tuesday but diminsh on Wednesday.

Thanksgiving Day should be mostly sunny and milder with most highs in the 50s.

Another cold front will approach our area on Friday.

MONDAY – NOV 22 – Showers likely mainly before 9 a.m. then partial clearing. Highs in the low 50s in the morning dropping to the 40s in the afternoon.

TUESDAY – NOV 23 – Mostly sunny, breezy and cool, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 24 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THANKSGIVING DAY – NOV 25 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 26 – Partly sunny, high in the low 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Variable winds less than 5 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories during the day on Sunday; advisories likely Sunday night through Monday night; gales likely on Tuesday; gales still possible Wednesday morning with small craft advisories expected the rest of Wednesday.
