Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 34 in Clifton down to 26 at High Point, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

A storm off the Maine coast along with high pressure will give us a brisk northwest flow of chilly air. Skies will start off mostly cloudy but become mostly sunny by midday. Winds gusting to 25 mph will slowly diminsh this afternoon.

A weak disturbance passing through our area on Sunday will cause mostly cloudy skies with a low chance of rain or snow showers, tempertures will continue to be cool but with less wind.

Most of next week will be dry and temperatures will continue to be below normal through Wednesday but then rise to above normal levels by the end of the week.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. this evening for west-northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
