Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 20 degrees in Clifton down to 12 at Pequest and Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a little milder and we should have some partial sunshine. A cold front will cross the area tonight with some snow flurries possible from late this afternoon through this evening.

Mostly sunny and cold on Monday as high pressure builds into the area.

Tuesday will be the mildest day of this week, there will be a slight chance of rain and snow showers as another cold front approaches our area.

Arctic air will be with us Wednesday into Thursday with highs only in the 20s. Early morning lows Thursday morning may only be in the single digits.

A little milder on Friday with mostly cloudy skies.

A strong coastal storm is expected to develop on Saturday and move off the coast, at this time most computer models have the storm to far out to sea to give us any snow but this system will be watched for possible changes in the track and intensity.

SATURDAY – JAN 29 – Partly sunny, high in the low 30s.
