Cloudy and cooler today with periods of rain! Unseasonably warm with sunshine on Friday! Mild with showers on Saturday! Partly sunny, breezy and slightly cooler on Sunday!

Skies are mostly cloudy and foggy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 44 in Clifton down to 37 at Sandyston and Walpack. Winds are calm or light easterly.

After having very nice and mild weather the last two days today will be cooler with periods of mostly light rain as a weak low offshore moves along the coast. Rain will develop by 9 a.m. and should end by early this evening. Rainfall amounts will be around 1/4″.

Unseasonably warm with plenty of sunshine on Friday with highs well up into the 70s.

Another frontal system will give us showers on Saturday but unlike last weekend temperatures will be mild with highs in the 60s.

Slightly cooler and breezy on Sunday along with partly sunny skies.

Monday and Tuesday look dry as high pressure dominates, temperatures will continue to be above normal.

Another frontal system will give our area a good chance of rain on Wednesday with cooler temperatures.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of rain before 8 p.m. then becoming partly cloudy, low in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – MAR 18 – Sunny and unseasonably warm, high in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – MAR 19 – Cloudy and mild with showers, high in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – MAR 20 – Partly sunny and breezy, high in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – MAR 21 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – MAR 22 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 23 – Mostly cloudy and cooler with a chance of rain, high near 50.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North-northeast winds to 10 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory will be in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 8 a.m. Friday morning; no advisories expected Friday afternoon and at night; advisories possible Saturday and Sunday; no advisories expected on Monday.
