Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and there is some dense fog in parts of the area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 49 in Clifton down to 46 at High Point. Winds are calm or light west-northwest.

Today will be an unseasonably mild day with skies becoming mostly sunny after early morning clouds and fog, highs will be in the 70s.

A low pressure system will give us showers from before dawn Saturday morning through the evening with even a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, high temperatures will be in the 60s.

High pressure building into the area on Sunday will give us a mostly sunny and breezy day and although it will be cooler temperatures will still be slightly above normal.

Dry weather is expected Monday and Tuesday with temperatures continuing to be slightly above normal.

Another low pressure system will likely give us rain Wednesday into Thursday with cooler temperatures.
