Mostly cloudy, breezy and mild today as spring begins at 11:33 a.m.! Dry and seasonably mild Monday and Tuesday! Rain and cooler Wednesday afternoon through Thursday!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 53 in Clifton down to 42 at Pequest. Winds are light from the west.

Yesterday turned out to be a much nicer day than expected as the warm front moved further north and temperatures again reached the 70s with only early morning showers and a heavier shower with the cold front at night.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with highs near 60 degrees which is still about 10 degrees above normal. Winds will be a little brisk this afternoon.

Monday and Tuesday will be seasonably mild but mainly dry as a couple of weak fronts move through our area.

A rather strong low pressure system will give us rain mainly from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning but showers are still possible Thursday afternoon and again on Friday. Temperatures will be near normal on Wednesday and slightly above normal Thursday and Friday.

TODAY – MAR 20 – Mostly cloudy and breezy, high near 60.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then clearing after midnight, low in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – MAR 21 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – MAR 22 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 23 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely mainly after 2 p.m., high near 50.

THURSDAY – MAR 24 – Rain mainly before 2 p.m., high near 60.

FRIDAY – MAR 25 – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower, high near 60.

SATURDAY – MAR 26 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday morning for west-northwest wind gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through the day on Wednesday; possible small craft advisories Wednesday night into Thursday!
