Mostly cloudy during the day today with rain developing tonight continuing into Wednesday morning! More rain expected Thursday afternoon and night! Showers still possible Friday and Saturday! Dry weather expected for Sunday!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 41 in Clifton down to 32 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a mostly cloudy to cloudy day with temperatures at or slightly below normal. A low pressure system will give our area rain mainly from late tonight into Wednesday morning with about an inch of rain expected.

After a brief break in the rain Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning another low pressure system will give us more rain mainly Thursday afternoon and night. Another inch of rain is likely.

An upper air low pressure trough will continue to give us a chance of mainly afternoon showers Friday and Saturday followed by a dry Saturday. High temperatures Wednesday through the weekend expect to be near or slightly below normal except for Friday when temperatures will be a slightly above normal.

A warming trend is likely next week.

TONIGHT – Rain developing mainly after 11 p.m., low in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 6 – Cloudy with rain mainly in the morning but some drizzle possible in the afternoon and night, high in the low to mid 50s.

THURSDAY – APR 7 – Chance of a shower in the morning then rain in the afternoon and night with a chance of a thunderstorm, high in the low to mid 50s.

FRIDAY – APR 8 – Chance of rain before 8 a.m. then becoming partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – APR 9 – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY – APR 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – APR 11 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted from 4 a.m. Wednesday morning until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening; advisories still possible Wednesday night into early Thursday; no advisories expected Thursday afternoon through Saturday.
