Sunny and a little milder today with less wind! Very pleasant spring weather this weekend! Mild much of next week with the best chance of showers Sunday night into Monday and again Tuesday night into Wednesday!

Good morning everyone!

Our skies across the region are mostly clear and it is another chilly morning with temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 38 in Clifton down to a cold 24 at Walpack. Winds are mostly from the northwest around 5-10 mph.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR APRIL 29TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 65 AVERAGE LOW: 46

RECORD HIGH: 89 – 1974 RECORD LOW: 33 – 1987

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 57 LOW: 38 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Today will be sunny again with slightly milder temperatures and a little less wind than yesterday. Still some gusty winds and low humidity which may cause the spread of some brush fires and a Red Flag Warning is again in effect across our area. The low pressure that gave us the strong winds is moving further away from the Canadian Maritimes as high pressure to our west builds closer to our area.

Very nice spring weather this weekend with plenty of sunshine both days, light winds and milder temperatures.

Next week looks to be rather unsettled but it should stay on the mild side with the best chance of showers Sunday night into Monday and again Tuesday night into Wednesday.
