Another mostly sunny breezy and mild day today! Sunny and mild Wednesday and Thursday with less wind! Good chance of showers Friday through the weekend but it will be continued mild!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 50 in Clifton down to a chilly 35 degrees at Walpack. Winds are still a little gusty out of the northeast.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR MAY 10TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 69 AVERAGE LOW: 50

RECORD HIGH: 93 – 1979 RECORD LOW: 36 – 2020

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 71 LOW: 45 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Low pressure off the Virginia coast and high pressure building down from off the New England coast will maintain a brisk northeast flow of mild but very dry air in our region today.

As the low pressure moves further offshore we will see less wind tomorrow and on Thursday with continued mostly fair skies and mild temperatures.

A few disturbances will give us a good chance of showers Friday through the weekend but unlike this past weekend when highs were in the 40s and 50s this coming weekend most highs will be in the 70s.
