Another mostly sunny and mild day today! Mainly dry and mild Thursday and Friday with more clouds! Showers likely over the weekend into early next week but staying mild!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 53 in Clifton down to a chilly 34 degrees at Walpack. Winds are mainly light from the north-northeast.

Another mostly sunny and pleasantly mild day today as the low pressure continues off the Virginia coast as high pressure from the New England states builds over the area. Winds will still be from the northeast but slightly lower speeds than the last couple of days.

Thursday will be another mild day but it should start off cloudy then become mostly sunny in the afternoon.

More clouds on Friday but with only a slight chance of a shower.

Unsettled weather this weekend into early next week with some showers likely but mostly of the time it will be dry with some pop-up showers mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will continue to be mild with an increase in humidity.

TONIGHT – Increasing clouds, low in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – MAY 12 – Cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 13 – Mostly cloudy, high near 70.

SATURDAY – MAY 14 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of mainly afternoon or evening showers, high in the mid 70s.

SUNDAY – MAY 15 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely mainly in the afternoon and evening, high in the upper 70s.

MONDAY – MAY 16 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – MAY 17 – Mostly sunny with still a chance of a shower, high in the mid 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 7-12 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories likely for high seas on Thursday; no advisories expected Friday through Sunday.
