Continued cloudy and muggy today with a chance of showers! More sunshine and warmer on Sunday but with another chance of afternoon and evening showers! Showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms on Monday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are areas of dense fog along with some mist or drizzle falling mainly over coastal areas. Temperatures are quite uniform over the area with readings mainly in the low 60s. The humidity continues to be high.

Today will be another cloudy and muggy day as a disturbance to our south moves slowly toward our area. Some showers are possible this afternoon and evening.

More sunshine on Sunday will cause highs to reach near 80 degrees but there will still be a chance of afternoon or evening showers.

A cold front will cross the area Monday night likely causing showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms.

Much of the rest of next week will be dry with lower humidity, temperatures will be near normal Tuesday through Thursday then rise to above normal by Friday. Next weekend looks to be very warm with a chance of our first 90 degree reading.

TODAY – MAY 14 – Cloudy and humid with a chance of showers mainly after 2 p.m., high in the low 70s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy and muggy with a chance of showers mainly before midnight, low in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – MAY 15 – Cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny and remaining humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 2 p.m., high near 80.

MONDAY – MAY 16 – Mostly cloudy and humid with showers and thunderstorms likely, some storms may be accompanied by small hail and gusty winds, high near 80.

TUESDAY – MAY 17 – Sunny and much less humid, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 18 – Sunny, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – MAY 19 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 20 – Mostly sunny and warmer, high in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – South-southeast winds to 10 knots, seas 2-3 feet. Some dense fog this morning.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.
