Becoming mostly sunny and warmer today but with still a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms! Continued warm on Monday with a good chance of severe thunderstorms! Mainly dry weather Tuesday through Saturday! First 90 degree day possible on Saturday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and most of the overnight rain has moved to our north, some dense fog in parts of the area. Temperatures across the area are mostly in the low 60s with high humidity!

After some early morning clouds we will have more sunshine today with warmer temperatures, however with high humidity there is still a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Hopefully skies will not be too cloudy for the total eclipse of the moon late tonight.

Severe thunderstorms are possible mainly from late afternoon into the evening as a cold front approaches our area, some of these storms may be accompanied by damaging winds, hail and even a slight chance of a tornado or two.

Much drier air with pleasantly mild air Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine both days.

Thursday’s temperature will still be mild and there is a slight chance of a shower mainly to our south as a warm front moves through our area.

Much warmer and dry Friday into the weekend with a chance of our first 90 degree day of the year on Saturday.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of evening showers and thunderstorms, muggy, low in the low 60s.

MONDAY – MAY 16 – Partly sunny in the morning then mostly cloudy warm and humid with showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon, some storms may be accompanied by strong gusty winds and possible hail, high near 80.

TUESDAY – MAY 17 – Mostly sunny and much less humid, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 18 – Sunny, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – MAY 19 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 20 – Partly sunny and warmer, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – MAY 21 – Mostly sunny and hot, high near 90.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly wind to 10 knots, seas less than 1 foot, dense fog likely this morning.
