Warmer today with more showers and thunderstorms likely this afternoon into Friday morning! Fantastic weather for the weekend with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity along with plenty of sunshine!

Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. are rather uniform with readings around 60 degrees. Winds are mainly calm and there are some showers moving offshore.

This morning should be mainly dry with possibly some breaks in the clouds but the frontal system in our area will likely cause some more showers later this afternoon and tonight, some rain may be heavy at times.

The frontal system should move offshore on Friday with showers still likely mainly in the morning.

This upcoming weekend will be very nice with seasonably warm temperatures, low humidity and plenty of sunshine both days.

Seasonably warm weather should continue through the midweek period with the next chance of showers on Tuesday as a frontal system moves into our area.

MONDAY – JUN 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – JUN 7 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 8 – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

Temperatures for the month averaged around 2 degrees above normal; highest temperature was 96 set on the 31st and the lowest temperature was 42 degrees on the 8th. Precipitation was above normal with 7.29″ accumulating. The spring months of March, April and May averaged above normal in temperatures and precipitation.
