Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 60 in Clifton down to 56 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm or light easterly and the humidity is high.

A weakening front will be in our area today continuing the cloudy skies with a chance of showers mainly after 10 a.m. High temperatures will be a few degrees higher than yesterday but still remain below normal due to the clouds and a light onshore wind. Some sunshine is possible before sunset this evening.

High pressure then builds in from the west on Friday providing the area with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.

A very nice summer weekend is expected with plenty of sunshine both days and highs near 90 degrees. The humidity will be moderate with dew points near 60.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday with showers likely.

High pressure then builds into the area giving us dry conditions Tuesday and Wednesday with near normal temperatures.
