Sunny with warm temperatures today! Hot weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days! Showers on Monday followed by mainly dry weather much of next week!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 61 in Clifton down to 55 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm.

After early morning clouds we should have mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures as highs reach the low 80s which is near normal. High pressure builds in from the west.

The first weekend of the summer will be very warm to hot as high pressure moves through the area. We should see plenty of sunshine both days with highs near 90. The humidity will be moderate with dew points in the low 60s.

A cold front will cross our area on Monday with showers.

Mainly dry with a slow warming trend Tuesday through the end of next week.
