High pressure will be in control of our weather today with mostly sunny skies with high temperatures a couple of degrees higher than yesterday with readings mainly in the mid 80s. Humidity will be comfortable with dew points in the 50s.

The high pressure will slowly move off the coast Thursday and Friday with continued mostly sunny skies both days. Highs on Thursday will be near 90 with continued comfortable humidity. Friday will be hot with highs in the mid 90s and humidity will rise with dew points in the 60s.

Saturday looks to be the worst day of the holiday weekend with showers and thunderstorms as a slow moving cold front moves into our area. Some of these storms may be strong especially in the afternoon and evening. With the clouds and precipitation highs will be lower but the humidity will stay high.

It appears now the front will move far enough south to keep Sunday mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures, there is only a low chance (30%) of a shower.
