It now looks like Saturday will be mainly dry with only a 30% chance of a shower, however Sunday a stronger low pressure area will likely cause showers and thunderstorms that should extend into early Monday morning. Temperatures this weekend will be a little below normal as we will have more cloudiness.

After some showers early Monday morning as a cold front moves through the area the rest of the week looks to be mainly dry except for an increasing chance of showers later in the week. Temperatures will average a little above normal.

Showers have ended over much of the area this morning as a weak frontal system moves offshore. The morning will start off mostly cloudy but becoming mostly sunny and warm this afternoon with highs in the 80s. Humidity will be moderate with dew points falling to the 50s in the afternoon.

A low pressure forming off the front will cause rain possibly heavy at times late tonight into Thursday morning, rainfall amounts will be between 1 an 1 1/2 inch. Some clearing in the afternoon and it will be breezy.

Friday will be a rather nice day with plenty of sunshine with seasonably warm temperatures.

Another low pressure system will give us rain on Saturday which again may be heavy at times. Sunday looks to be mainly dry but with still a chance of a shower. High temperatures both days will be slightly below normal.

The 96 degree temperature yesterday was a record for the date and the hottest May temperature since 1987 when it hit 97 degrees on May 30th.

The back door cold front moved to our south and west late last night and we now have a northeast flow of much cooler air. High temperatures today will be around 25 degrees lower than yesterday. Skies will be partly sunny but as the front moves back toward our area showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly from late this afternoon through this evening. Some of the storms may be accompanied by heavy downpours.

The front will move back to our north Thursday morning followed by a cold front that will cross the area Thursday night of early Friday morning. Thursday morning should be dry but showers are likely again in the afternoon with still a chance of a shower early Friday morning followed by clearing Friday afternoon.

High pressure will dominate our weather this weekend providing our area with beautiful early June weather with mostly sunny skies both days, low humidity and seasonably warm temperatures.

Continued near seasonably warm temperatures early next week, a front may give us a couple of showers Tuesday.
