Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is quite mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 73 in Clifton down to 60 at Sandyston. Winds are light from the west.

Yesterday we only received a trace of rain as the thunderstorms weakened as they moved into our area.

Today high pressure will build into our area giving us a hot day but the humidity will drop through the day.

A decaying front just offshore on Thursday may touch off an afternoon or evening shower and thunderstorm. Skies will be partly cloudy with seasonably warm temperatures.

Friday and Saturday look to be dry with continued seasonably warm temperatures and moderate humidity.

Sunday and Monday look to be quite warm with increasing humidity and a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days.

Most of the rest of next week look to be hot.
