Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 65 in Clifton down to 51 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity continues to be comfortable with dew points in the 50s.

A coastal low pressure is moving off the New England coast and we will have more clouds today with a low chance of some afternoon or evening showers. With the clouds, high temperatures will be a little lower today with highs mainly near 80. The humidity will continue to be comfortable with dew points mainly in the 50s.

More sunshine and warmer Thursday and Friday but the humidity will stay comfortable. Highs in the mid 80s on Thursday and close to 90 on Friday.

Dry weather will continue over the weekend as high pressure continues to dominate. Highs will be mainly in the upper 80s and the humidity will rise with dew points in the 60s.

Warm and humid early next week with a good chance of showers, maybe this time we will finally have some needed rainfall.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 8 p.m., this evening for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-6 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is 75 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday through Sunday.
