Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and there is some patchy fog inland, temperatures range from 55 in Clifton down to 51 at Pequest and Basking Ridge. Winds are light from the west to southwest.

Today will be a seasonally mild day as a weak trough moves through the area, there is a low chance of showers this afternoon and evening.

Dry weather is expected Tuesday through Friday, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

Some tropical moisture may move in from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ian which is now strengthening over the Caribbean.
