Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and most of the overnight rain has moved to our north and east. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 50 in Clifton down to 46 at High Point. Winds are from the north.

The frontal system that gave us the showers overnight will move further offshore today as high pressure builds into our area. After early morning clouds we should enjoy plenty of sunshine with mild temperatures.

Another mild and dry day on Saturday, a weak cold front will come through dry at night and Sunday will be a couple of degrees cooler.

A frontal system will likely give us showers on Monday.

Much cooler weather for most of the remainder of the week but we should be dry except for possible snow flurries over the Poconos on Tuesday.

TODAY – OCT 14 – Becoming mostly sunny after early morning cloudiness, high in the upper 60s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – OCT 15 – Sunny and becoming breezy in the afternoon, high near 70.

SUNDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 17 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – OCT 18 – Chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, breezy and much cooler, high in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 19 – Sunny and cool, high in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – OCT 20 – Mostly sunny and continued cool, high in the mid 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected the rest of Saturday through Tuesday.
