Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some light showers falling in parts of the area. Temperatures early this morning range from 51 in Clifton down to 40 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm.

A warm front will pass north of the area today followed by a cold front this evening. Showers are likely but there will be dry periods also throughout the day. High temperatures will be in the 60s.

Much cooler weather tomorrow through Thursday but we will stay dry. There is a good chance of frost or freeze conditions especially inland Tuesday night through Thursday night.

High pressure will then give us dry conditions on Friday with highs moderating to near normal levels.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry and mild however there will be a coastal low that may be close enough to give us a slight chance of rain on Sunday.

THURSDAY – OCT 20 – Sunny and cool, high in the upper 50s.

FRIDAY – OCT 21 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 22 – Sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – OCT 23 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until midnight tonight for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots becoming northwest this evening, seas building to 5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Friday.
