Sunny, breezy and continued cool today with some frost possible again tonight! Continue cool and breezy on Thursday! Fair and not as cool on Friday! Milder over the weekend with a chance of showers late Sunday night into Monday!

Skies are clear early on this Wednesday morning and with calm winds there is some frost in much of the area with freezing temperatures to our north and west. Readings early this morning range from 37 in Clifton down to 27 at Pequest.

Today will be another cool day as the upper level low near the Great Lakes gives us a cyclonic westerly flow of cool air, highs will only be in the mid 50s despite plenty of sunshine. It will become breezy with winds gusting to 25 mph.

Tomorrow will be cool again and breezy in the afternoon with gusts again to 25 mph/

The upper level low will slowly weaken and move further north of the area on Friday, it will be slightly milder during the day after a chilly early morning.

Milder over the weekend, Saturday will be pleasant with plenty of sunshine. Some increase in clouds on Sunday and we will have a chance of showers late Sunday night into Monday as a coastal low pressure moves northward.

TODAY – OCT 19 – Patchy frost this morning then sunny, breezy and cool, high only in the mid 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear with patchy frost after midnight, low in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY – OCT 20 – Patch frost in the morning then becoming sunny and breezy, high in the upper 50s.

FRIDAY – OCT 21 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 22 – Sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – OCT 23 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers after midnight.

MONDAY – OCT 24 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers mainly in the morning, high in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – OCT 25 – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – West-southwest winds gusting to 15 knots, seas 3 feet.
