Showers ending this morning then becoming partly sunny, breezy and seasonably cool! Mainly dry Monday through the day on Tuesday with some freezing early morning temperatures likely! Rain Tuesday night into Wednesday! Quite chilly Thursday through at least next weekend!

Skies are cloudy early on this Sunday morning and there are some showers falling in parts of the area. Early morning temperatures range from 50 in Clifton down to 42 at High Point. Winds are light from the north.

The weak disturbance offshore will move away this morning and showers should end by 7 a.m.; skies should become partly sunny by this afternoon as high pressure builds into our area from the northwest. Northwest winds will become a little brisk by this afternoon. High temperatures will be near seasonably levels with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Mainly dry Monday through the day on Tuesday but it will be cool with highs both days in the 40s with overnight lows near or slightly below freezing.

A low pressure area will give us rain Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon; some mixture of snow and rain is possible across the higher elevations over northwestern New Jersey.

Chilly but dry weather is expected Thursday through the weekend and below normal temperatures should continue into Thanksgiving week, quite a change from the unseasonably warm weather of the past several days.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the low 30s.

MONDAY – NOV 14 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – NOV 15 – Partly sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon, high in the upper 40s. Rain developing at night.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 16 – Cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning then becoming partly sunny in the afternoon, high near 50.

THURSDAY – NOV 17 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – NOV 18 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – NOV 19 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday morning for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected the rest of Monday into the day on Tuesday; advisories likely Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday night; advisories still possible on Thursday.
