Showers ending early this morning then clearing and staying mild with lower humidity! A weak disturbance will give us a chance of showers Sunday morning then becoming much cooler! Chilly most of next week with a chance of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday!

Some showers are falling in parts of the area early on this Saturday morning and it is remarkably warm and humid, in fact we already have a record high temperature for the date here with a reading of 71 degrees at 3:30 a.m. The temperature has dropped a little to 68 degrees at 5 a.m., the lowest reading now is at High Point with a reading of a mild 64 degrees.

The remnant low of Nicole is moving through western parts of Pennsylvania as a cold front approaches from the west. Showers with this system should end by 7 a.m. with clearing skies by this afternoon. Temperatures will stay quite mild with highs in the low 70s but the humidity will drop.

A weak disturbance along the front offshore will give our area a chance of light rain late tonight into Sunday morning followed by clearing, breezy and much cooler air. Highs will only reach the low 50s.

Chilly most of next week with the best chance of rain being Tuesday night into Wednesday as a weak coastal storm moves offshore. Some of the rain may be mixed with snow at the higher elevations across northwest New Jersey.

TODAY – NOV 12 – Showers ending by 7 a.m. then partial clearing, high in the low 70s, becoming less humid by this afternoon.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain after midnight, low in the mid 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 13 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, breezy and cool in the afternoon, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 14 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – NOV 15 – Mostly sunny in the morning then increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, high in the upper 40s, rain at night.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 16 – Rain likely mainly in the morning, high near 50.

THURSDAY – NOV 17 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – NOV 18 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 10 a.m. this morning for southwest winds gusting to 40 knots seas 8-11 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected to continue this afternoon through Sunday night; no advisories expected Monday through the day on Tuesday; advisories possible Tuesday night into Wednesday.
