Skies across the area are partly cloudy and early morning temperatures range from 33 in Clifton down to 20 at Walpack and Pequest. Winds are mainly calm or light southwesterly. There is a slight chance of black ice on some sidewalks and roads mainly inland.

A high pressure ridge is off the southeast coast and will give us a light southwesterly flow of mild air into our area. Skies will be mostly sunny with only some broken high clouds at times.
Continued mild with the southwest flow continuing from the high pressure ridge offshore.
A frontal system will likely give us rain from around noontime on Saturday through the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. Temperatures will continue to be well above normal. Rainfall amounts of 1/2 to one inch is expected.
Continued quite mild through the middle of next week along with a chance of showers Tuesday into Wednesday as a weak frontal system will move through our area.
