Skies remain mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and early temperatures range from 33 in Clifton down to 26 at High Point. Winds are light from the north.

Weak high pressure will be moving off the coast and we will again have plenty of clouds today with continued cool temperatures but still slightly above normal.
Milder on Thursday but a frontal system will give us rain mainly in the afternoon but there is a low chance of scattered showers in the morning that may be mixed with snow well inland.
Mild on Friday with rain ending around noon, temperatures will slowly fall by late in the day.
This weekend should be dry with cooler temperatures but still slightly above normal for mid January.
Milder early next week with a low chance of showers Tuesday afternoon.
