Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures are again milder than this time yesterday with early readings ranging from 35 in Clifton down to 25 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a mild day but it will become breezy as a weak cold front comes through this morning and a northerly flow develops..

Cooler on Tuesday as an onshore flow develops and we should see an increase in clouds, highs will be in the low 40s which is still above normal.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and mild as high pressure builds into the area.

A low pressure area will likely give us rain Thursday afternoon and at night, temperatures continue to be mild.

Friday will be an unseasonably mild day with plenty of sunshine and highs approaching 60.

Cooler over the weekend with a chance of rain on Saturday as a weak frontal system moves into our area.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 20s.

TUESDAY – FEB 7 – Increasing cloudiness, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 8 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – FEB 9 – Cloudy with rain likely mainly after 1 p.m. high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – FEB 10 – Mostly sunny and very mild, high near 60.

SATURDAY – FEB 11 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – FEB 12 – Sunny, high in the low 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. this morning until 10 p.m. tonight for northerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Tuesday and Wednesday; advisories possible on Thursday; no advisories expected for Friday.
